THE MOONLIGHT COLOURTHON
The ‘Moonlight Colourthon' took place on Saturday 7th July, 2007. It was a great success. Watch this space for an update on how much we raised.

Thank you to everyone who took part.

Over recent years it has become apparent to the round table that charities are constantly in need of new financial resources to aid them in their work, it is primarily this, which has inspired them to create an event that would empower them to do so, an umbrella event so to speak.

A big thank you to the Round Table for arranging such a well organised event.

Hopefully our next organised event will be a dog walk to be held in Hockley Woods. More details to follow.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL DOGWALK
A big thank you to all the humans that made our dog walk successful. We had lots of sunshine for our annual dogwalk held in Hockley Woods on Sunday 9th September 2007. The above picture shows some of the dogs having just finished their walk.

SUCCESSFUL DOG WALK HELD IN SEPTEMBER 2006
This years dog walk was very successful and £283 was raised to help the sick and injured animals in our area.

Our dog walk takes place in September each year at Hockley Woods and we have been holding this event for the past 10 years, we usually have a good turn out and the sun always shines, the large number of dogs that come with their owners have a great time chasing along the path and darting in and out of the woodland.

The walk starts in the car park then we journey to the outskirts of the woods and continue along the edge of the farmers field towards Gusted Hall then on to Mount Bovers, after this we return back into the woods with a final steep hill back to the car park, with a very welcome pub lunch at the Bull.

Look out for information of our dog walk for 2007 on this website or posters in the local area. If you would prefer use our contact us page and let us have your contact details and we will inform you of the date when known.
