Wish to Support us with a donation?
Our Branch relies on the generosity of you the public and our three charity shops to continue with the treatment and rehoming of all animals in our care. The more money we raise the more animals we can support to ensure that they have new homes as quickly as possible.

If you would like to donate money to us there are a number of ways shown below. However, if you would like to donate for a specific purpose please use our "contact us" page and we will provide you with details as soon as possible.

Please ensure that any cheques are made payable to:
RSPCA Essex South & Southend to ensure that your donation is used for work within our Branch.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this page.

REMEMBER THE BRANCH IN YOUR WILL
Legacies
Our branch is very thankful to those people who have remembered us in their Will. For this branch to receive a bequest you must clearly state the beneficiary as the RSPCA ESSEX SOUTH & SOUTHEND BRANCH.

By specifying the RSPCA Essex South & Southend Branch, when writing your will, you can ensure your bequest benefits local animals. There are three ways to do this:

Residuary - A residuary legacy is the gift of the residue of your estate, or a percentage of the residue, after your debts have been settled and any legacies you leave to other people have been paid. If you leave your whole estate as a gift, this is also known as a residuary legacy. Generally, this kind of legacy is of the greatest benefit to the RSPCA Essex South & Southend Branch, as its value increases in line with the value of your estate.

Pecuniary - A specified sum of money, decided when the will or codicil is written, is called a pecuniary legacy.

Specific - When a particular item of value is bequeathed, this is a specific legacy. This includes stocks and shares, the proceeds of a life assurance policy, property, furniture and jewellery.

Please remember to include the full name of the branch in your Will to ensure that your bequest benefits local animals in need.
